Supporting Indigenous Families Affected by the Earthquake in Panama

On October 9, 2026, an earthquake affected Indigenous families in the Kodriri region of Panama, causing damage to homes and threatening the safety and stability of entire households.

In the communities of Cerro Mosquito, Cerro Name, and Alto Saldaña, families have reported serious structural damage, including cracks in walls, floors, and supporting beams, damaged roofs, collapsing walls, shifting ground, and landslides around their homes. Some houses have suffered significant structural damage, leaving families facing an uncertain and difficult road to recovery.

We are gathering funds to support these families with temporary shelter, essential supplies, and the materials and resources needed to repair their homes and rebuild safely. Restoring damaged houses and helping families regain a sense of security will take time, care, and collective support.

Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference. Together, we can help these Indigenous families navigate the aftermath of the earthquake, protect their loved ones, and begin rebuilding their homes and lives.

If you feel called to support, please contribute whatever amount you can and share this fundraiser with others. Every act of solidarity matters.

From our hearts, thank you for standing with these families during this difficult time.
