Mattress Donation Program

Mattresses and bedding are something taken for granted in most of the world, but often people living in remote areas don’t have resources to own a comfortable, factory made mattress. Typical bedding in remote areas of the world is often made from things sourced locally, like torn clothing, reeds, or paper,  and is often not ideal for health and wellness. Bedding of this nature is prone to pests and can cause muscle and spine issues over time.  Following the 2018 Tribal Gathering  event, Geoparadise was able to buy several latex mattresses which were donated to provide comfortable sleeping arrangements for the entire community of El Progreso.
