Drums for Project Inebesei

Since 2007, there has been a change in the Garifuna Culture (Belize) in regards to youth involvement, educational opportunities, national and international performance of music and dance expressions, mental and spiritual growth, and other community issues. Project Inebesei is facilitating the bridging of the generational gap among the children, youth, adults and senior members of the Garifuna communities of Belize.” Says Project Inebezi Founder and Foriegn Affairs Manager Emilio Thomas.  Geoparadise has hosted Project Imebesei at our annual Tribal Gathering for several years and in the interest of maintaining traditional arts, will be purchasing 10 of the handmade drums from Project Inebesei. 7 of the 10 will be donated back to the project for lessons.
